We are excited to share that the Norfolk County Economic Development Department is now officially Rainbow Registered. This accreditation, administered by Canada’s 2SLGBTQI+ Chamber of Commerce (CGLCC), is a testament to our commitment to creating a safer, more welcoming, and inclusive space for the 2SLGBTQI+ community.
Our Commitment to Inclusivity: Our 2024-27 Economic Development Strategy underscored our commitment to promoting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) within the local economy – and to educating local businesses about the importance of DEI initiatives as well. The Rainbow Registered accreditation recognizes our efforts to create a business environment where everyone feels valued and part of our vibrant community. This aligns with our core values of diversity and inclusion, and we are proud to be a part of this important national initiative.
